Manage your data and account deletion

Important: Account Deletion is Permanent

Once your account is deleted, all your data will be permanently removed from our systems. This action cannot be undone. Please ensure you want to proceed before submitting a deletion request.

What Data Will Be Deleted?

When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed within 30 days:

  • Personal Information: Your name, mobile number, email address, and profile details
  • Account Data: Login credentials, preferences, and settings
  • Booking History: Past and future reservations, event tickets, and table bookings
  • Payment Information: Saved payment methods and transaction history
  • User-Generated Content: Reviews, ratings, and any content you've created
  • Activity Logs: Search history, browsing data, and app usage analytics

Data We Must Retain

For legal, security, and fraud prevention purposes, we may retain certain data even after account deletion:

  • Financial Records: Transaction data required for tax compliance and accounting (up to 7 years as required by Hong Kong law)
  • Legal Obligations: Data required to comply with legal proceedings, investigations, or regulatory requirements
  • Fraud Prevention: Anonymized data used to prevent fraud and abuse
  • Backup Systems: Data in backup systems will be deleted within 90 days

Before You Delete Your Account

Please consider the following:

  • Active Bookings: Cancel any upcoming reservations or ticket purchases before deletion
  • Outstanding Payments: Ensure all payments are settled
  • Download Your Data: Request a copy of your data before deletion if needed
  • Alternative Options: Consider temporarily deactivating your account instead

How to Delete Your Account

Option 1: Delete from the App (Recommended)

  1. Open the Mandos app
  2. Tap on Profile (bottom navigation)
  3. Go to Account Settings
  4. Scroll down and tap Delete Account
  5. Tap Delete Account again to confirm
  6. Follow the final confirmation prompts

⚠️ This action is permanent and cannot be undone. Make sure you want to proceed.

Option 2: Request Deletion via Email

Fill out the form below to send an account deletion request to our support team:

Include country code (e.g., +852 for Hong Kong)

By submitting this form, you'll be redirected to your email client to send the deletion request to our support team.

Deletion Timeline

Request Received (Day 0)

We'll send you a confirmation email within 24 hours

Verification (Days 1-3)

We may contact you via your registered mobile number or email to verify your identity and confirm the request

Account Deactivation (Day 3)

Your account is immediately deactivated and inaccessible

Data Deletion (Days 3-30)

All your data is permanently deleted from our active systems

Backup Deletion (Days 30-90)

Data is removed from backup systems and archives
